Senior Metallurgist

Andrew Swann is a qualified and experienced process and chemical engineer with more than 15 years’ experience in the mining and metals processing industry.

He is a charted Chemical Engineer with IChemE and professionally registered with BPEQ. He has significant experience in commissioning and plant operations in multiple commodities across the world.

He has been with Glencore Technology for 14 months with a key focus on projects involving the integration between the Jameson Cell and IsaMill™ flotation and regrind technologies into the Jameson Concentrator.

Senior Metallurgist

Ion Gurnett is a registered professional engineer (AusIMM and BPEQ) with 13 years' experience in Operations and Project roles in the mining industry across Australia and North America.

He holds a Bachelor in Chemical & Metallurgical Engineering (Hon) and a Masters in Business Economics.

He is currently utilising his skills and experience in the Minerals Processing team at Glencore Technology across all the technologies (Jameson Cell, Jameson Concentrator, IsaMill™) with a particular focus on the IsaMill™.
