Christian Pastén - Sales Director, Central and South America

Christian is a Civil Metallurgical Engineer with an MBA in Mining Management.

Christian began his career in 1997 testing Glencore Technology’s Jameson Cell and IsaMill™ across Latina America, later branching into the processes of the IsaKidd™ technology in different mining plants across America and Australia.

He is currently developing alternative mining business opportunities and introducing Glencore Technology owned technologies in the Latin American region.

Alejandro Lira - Sales Director, Central and South America

Alejandro Lira studied Geological Engineering at the UNAM in Mexico City. 

Since 1972 he has collaborated with various companies in the mining and metallurgical areas, mainly in Mexico, Peru and Chile. 

Alejandro has been with Glencore Technology since 2014.

Dr. Gabor Csicsovszki - Principal Metallurgist, Jameson Concentrator^TM

Gabor is a principal metallurgist with 15 years of experience in every application of metallurgy, from R&D to operations.

Gabor has published several technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and delivered presentations on his work at conferences around the world.

In addition to his MBA, he holds a Master of Science and a PhD in Metallurgy and is currently utilising his skills and experience in the Minerals Processing team at Glencore Technology, focusing on flotation technologies and the Jameson Concentrator in particular.

Nabil Khan - Senior Metallurgist (Canada), Mineral Processing

Nabil is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and joined Glencore Technology in 2024 to work in the Mineral Processing division.

Nabil has previous experience from Highland Valley Copper, Mount Milligan and New Afton. 

Having worked in Sweden and Portugal, Nabil has found a passion for the North American region and enjoys growing Glencore Technology’s business in his own backyard.
