Director of Sales - South America

Christian Pastén is a Civil Metallurgical Engineer with an MBA in Mining Management.

Christian began his career in 1997 testing Glencore Technology’s Jameson Cell and IsaMill™ across Latina America, later branching into the processes of the IsaKidd™ technology in different mining plants across America and Australia.

He is currently developing alternative mining business opportunities and introducing Glencore Technology owned technologies in the Latin American region.

Technology Manager - Hydrometallurgy and Pyrometallurgy

Dr. Stanko Nikolic has over 15 years’ experience in the extractive metallurgy industry and has worked in numerous roles in technology, projects and operations.

Stanko holds a Ph.D (Metallurgy) and B.Eng (Minerals Processing) both from the University of Queensland and is currently the Technology Manager for the Hydrometallurgy and Pyrometallurgy business at Glencore Technology.

He works on development, studies, basic and detailed engineering projects and site construction/commissioning for the Albion Process™, ISASMELT™, ISACONVERT™, BBOC™ and other Glencore Technology owned technologies.

Principal Metallurgist - Jameson Cell

Adam Price is the Principal Metallurgist for the Jameson Cell at Glencore Technology.

He has over 13 years of experience in the minerals processing industry, with over nine years spent at Glencore base metals operations in Australia, and four years at Glencore Technology.

Recently, the key focus areas for the Jameson Cell team have been educating the wider mining community on the technology’s flexibility to effectively process a wide range of commodities and all duties within a flotation circuit, and the subsequent launch of the Jameson Concentrator, which is a full flotation and regrind circuit consisting solely of Jameson Cells and IsaMills.
